CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Catch a special screening of "The Cheech" documentary on Sunday, October 6 (4:00 pm - 6:00 pm) at the Art Museum of South Texas.
“THE CHEECH” is a 25-minute documentary inspired by Cheech Marin’s extensive collection of Chicano art and the opening of the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Industry at the Riverside Art Museum," their website says.
The film was produced and directed by Edward Tyndall, an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and former Program Coordinator and Associate Professor in the TAMU-CC Department of Communication and Media.
Grammy Nominee and Corpus Christi Native El Dusty provided the soundtrack.
The screening will be followed by a gallery talk with local artists from the exhibition "Selections from the Collection: Latino and Latina Heart Work."
