CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx — The "Jones Aviation Depot Forum" is kicking off at the Ortiz International Center.

It is continuously the largest Army Aviation Association of America event in South Texas, and this year they are returning for their 15th year.

The forum provides military, industry leaders, and professionals a chance to discuss one of the army's top priority: Readiness.

“The purpose of it is to highlight the capabilities of the Depot, but also to talk about how we will modernize so that we can take care of and maintain future weapon systems for Army aviation.” Said Colonel Gail Atkins.

The theme of this year's conference is "shaping aviation sustainment to meet multi-domain operations."

The two day forum includes panel discussions and a showroom exhibit focused on aviation maintenance and combat readiness.
