CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Eleven people remain hospitalized following a wreck Sunday afternoon in Aransas County.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Highway 35 just north of Holiday Beach.
According to the Department of Public Safety, an SUV was headed south when it was hit by a passenger car that suddenly veered into its lane.
Some of the injured included children.
One child had to be taken by Halo Flight to Driscoll Children's Hospital.
The conditions of the Injured people are not known.
