It’s been almost six months since Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales took office.
Today, she’s giving her first State of the County address.
She’ll address the future for every county department.
She will also unveil her “5 for 5” program, a plan to accomplish five major goals over the next five years.
One of those goals is making the county compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
But there is one local group that questions how the state of the county event was organized.
