A couple injured in a traffic accident that killed their 15-month-old son remains in intensive care.
The victim has been identified as Ezekiel Castro of Edinburg.
He was riding with his family yesterday just south of Riviera when their SUV went into the opposite lane of U.S. Highway 77.
It crashed into an 18-wheeler.
His parents are in Spohn Shoreline’s intensive care unit.
The boy’s 10-year-old and 9-year-old brothers are at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
The truck driver was not hurt.
