Changes on Chaparral Street have paved the way for new businesses in downtown Corpus Christi.
Some have already opened their doors and others plan to do so in the weeks ahead.
Last October, Chaparral was converted from a one-way street into a two-way. New landscaping, larger sidewalks, and more parking were also added.
That’s brought in more visitors and made downtown a more attractive location for business owners.
Lucy’s Snack Bar opened its doors about three weeks ago, Moonshine & Ale Club will open this week.
We’ll speak to one business about the development on Chaparral and why it’s becoming a popular destination.
That full story this evening on KRIS 6 News.
