It’s been an uphill battle.
But Texas breweries are one step closer to being allowed to sell beer to go after the state Senate passed the TABC Sunset Bill yesterday.
Craft beer lovers in 49 other states already are allowed to sell beer-to-go. Those in Texas have lobbied for the same in this legislative session.
Essentially, this would allow customers to visit breweries and fill up growlers which are essentially mini kegs with their favorite beer and be on their way.
We’ll speak with multiple owners of local breweries about how if this becomes law it could positively impact business and boost the local economy.
