There’s been a delay in Judge Guy Williams’ public intoxication case.
A hearing set for that case in Municipal Court has been pushed back to June, because of issues with a witness who was subpoenaed.
The charge is related to an incident more than a year ago on the Island.
Judge Williams was a passenger in a car involved in an accident.
Police say Williams pushed a fire captain who tried to check his condition.
In court today, Williams’ attorney asked that none of Williams’ other pending criminal charges be discussed in the upcoming trial.
Williams was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
