With just a few more weeks until graduation, Miller High School hosted its Decision Day.
The school honored graduating seniors who have made a commitment to attend community colleges, universities, trade schools or the military.
Out of 241 graduating seniors, 154 will be continuing their education with 98 attending Del Mar College.
Twenty-two students are headed to Texas A&M-Corpus Christl and eight will become Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas.
And 10 students have also committed to serving in the Armed Forces.
“Watching them and wondering, do you have it? Have we prepared you enough? Do we need more time? I only have 17 more days,” said Dr. Bruce Wilson, Miller High School’s principal. “I feel like I need more time to make sure they’re ready, but I think they are.”
The Miller Buccaneers seniors will graduate at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30.
