The vessel turn-in program that wrapped up last weekend produced some good numbers.
Sixty-six old vessels were collected here in Corpus Christi.
This was the third year for the program. It’s sponsored by the General Land Office, the Coast Guard and the city.
The goal is to get rid of old boats, trailers and jet skis so they aren’t abandoned somewhere to become eyesores or navigation hazards.
