There are still more questions than answers as to why a man from the San Antonio area drove his pickup truck into the water near the Ferry Landing.
Port Aransas police say 64-year-old Martin Andrew Steitle led police on a chase before driving into the water.
Yesterday, the Corpus Christi Police Department Dive Team used inflated bags to raise the truck out of the water and bring it back to shore.
Port Aransas Police say they found no contraband in Steitle’s truck.
Investigators are in the process of interviewing his family who live in Medina County near San Antonio.
