Jace Montagne has been sentenced to 46 years in prison after he was convicted of murdering a transgender woman.
Montagne is one of four people who was charged with the murder of Stephanie Montez.
Back in October 2017, Montez was found dead on County Road 61, just outside of Robstown.
Montagne was also convicted of engaging in organized criminal activity.
He received a 25-year-sentence for that charge.
Prosecutors had been seeking a life sentence.
