If all goes as planned, the Columbus replica ship La Nina will be taking a trip across the bay.
She sank in the marina about a week ago but was finally raised on Saturday.
The ship is being prepped for a trip to Aransas Pass in about a month if weather conditions and calm waters allow for it.
Marina officials are hopeful La Nina can be repaired.
Loose fittings on part of the hull caused a hole that led to last week’s sinking.
La Nina was also sunk shortly after Hurricane Havey hit.
