As the new Harbor Bridge takes shape, it’s not just made of concrete and steel.

It’s also full of some pretty interesting numbers.

For example, how long is the main span of the bridge? The main span of the bridge is about 5½ football fields long.

The bridge will be more than 500 feet high, which will make it the tallest structure in South Texas.

And how about lighting?

The cables and towers of the new bridge will act like a giant movie screen.

They will be seen overlooking third base at a Hooks game, instead of first base.

We’ll be talking to people who are working on the project to learn even more interesting facts about the bridge.
