If you are a first responder or a veteran, you can get a free haircut today.
Burn Pits 360, a local non-profit veterans’ organization, is sponsoring a free “Haircut for Heroes” event today.
The organization started these free haircut events in March and plan to continue them every month.
The idea came from a military wife, who says her husband’s experiences in the service inspired her to give back to the Veterans’ community.
So if you’re a Vet, head over to the Burn Pits 360 Resource Center in Robstown, 201 N. 4th Street. They’ll be offering those free haircuts there from noon until 3 p.m. today.
“It’s gonna be more than just a haircut,” said Jazmin Rivera. “It just makes you feel so much better about yourself. You know, get your day started feeling great. It’s just a great feeling to have a fresh haircut.
And, you don’t even need to make an appointment.
