First responders heading out to rescue call along the beach

UPDATE 8:35 p.m.: The six people have been pulled out of the waters and rescued.

Corpus Christi first responders are heading out to the North Packery Channel Jetty to rescue people from the waters.

According to Nueces County ESD #2, a boat overturned and there are six people in the water.

The incident happened just before 8:10 p.m. on Saturday.
