King High School students are moving forward after losing a classmate for the third time in four years.
King’s Principal Elizabeth Perez told KRIS 6 News that because Je’Sani Smith was a senior, most grieving students are older and are rallying around each other.
Still, CCISD’s crisis team spent two days at King, just being there for students dealing with the grieving process. Counselors are still available for anyone needing to talk, including staff.
