It’s National Volunteer Week and the CHRISTUS Spohn Health System is celebrating their hundreds of volunteers.
CHRISTUS Spohn has three different programs within their Volunteer services. The junior volunteer program is for students as young as 15 and in high school. The next program is geared towards college students who are looking for a career in healthcare services. The third program is the adult volunteer program, which is mainly for retirees and people who have a passion for volunteerism.
Two adult volunteers spoke with KRIS 6 about their time as a volunteer through CHRISTUS Spohn, hoping they can get more people to join as a volunteer.
