Family claims delivery driver was sneaking sips before handing over their food

A California family is aghast after seeing something disturbing on their home security camera after they filmed a DoorDash driver taking a big sip of the cookies and cream milkshake they had ordered.

Rajesh Malhotra told Stockton television station KTXL that his 14-year-old son had ordered a milkshake from Cold Stone Creamery. But apparently, he wasn’t the only one who got a chance to enjoy it.

“(I thought) ‘Whoa, that’s crazy,” Malhotra told the station. “I mean, how can someone jeopardize the product like that, especially the food?”

The family didn’t learn about the incident until the next day — after Rishab had already finished the frozen treat.

“My dad told me to check out the video from last night, and once I checked it out I brushed five, six times,” Rishab said. “I felt really disgusted.”

Obviously, the family says that the milkshake incident has them thinking twice about future orders with the company.

“We have trust between the company and the drivers,” Rajesh said. “Once that trust is broken, we can’t go back.”

The company claims it has reached out to the company several times. But two weeks after the incident, they still haven’t heard back.
