AMBER ALERT: 1-year-old abducted near Atlanta, believed to be in ‘extreme danger’

ATLANTA — Authorities are searching for a 1-year-old girl believed to be abducted near Atlanta early Thursday morning.

Baylee Sue Peeples was taken around 1:50 a.m. by 39-year-old Robert Joseph Peeples, Arcade Police said.  An Amber Alert has been issued for Baylee, who lives with her mother.

Police said Baylee is believed to be in extreme danger. Both Baylee and Robert Joseph were last seen in Jefferson, Georgia.

The two are said to be headed west to Mississippi. But they could be as far as Texas by this afternoon as they are traveling in a 1993 GMC Vandura with a Georgia license plate RIK1620.

Baylee Peeples was last seen wearing a pink shirt that said “Always Amazing” with hearts and a pink and black jacket with the word “Love” on it. Baylee Peeples is around 3’0″ tall, weighs 25 lbs, has blue eyes and blonde curly hair.
