Corpus Christi fire crews are investigating the cause of an overnight apartment fire on the city’s south side.
First responders arrived at the Town Oaks apartments in the 6300 block of S-P-I-D around 1:00am. That’s where investigators say the first story and second story of one of the buildings was engulfed in flames.
Everyone inside the building was quickly evacuated and flames were extinguished shortly after. There were no reports of any injuries and while the residents who live in the building that caught fire were not immediately able to go back inside, fire crews say the damages were minor and the occupants will be able to return soon.
