Many classic cars, Jeeps, to even motorcycles were shined up and ready to be shown off for the ‘Crusin for Autism’ car show.

The event was hosted by the organization Fishing 4 Autism and this also gave folks the chance to pre-register for their 5th annual fishing competition.

“It’s a great cause and trying to get the awareness out there to the community it’s a great thing,” says David Ybanez.

President of 4K Motorsports Jesus Selvera says his team has been together for four years. In that duration, the car group says they do their best to support community events.

“It keeps us occupied with what we do we love to deal with the cars it’s mostly what we do and it keeps a lot of these younger kids out of trouble,” says Selvera.

This car show also honored local rap artist Jose “Flatline” Mendoza.

Mendoza’s family members share that before Jose passed away he was a big advocate in raising awareness because his son has autism.

“To have people come together like that for one cause, you know what I mean, and that cause, that’s important, it’s important to us and it’s important to my family it’s important to my team, that’s what we push for every day,” says Hector Mendoza.

The fifth annual Fishing 4 Autism will take place April 26th, 27th, and 28th 2019 at the Packery Channel located on Zahn Road.
