It’s Presidents Day.
We stop today and consider our country’s rich history. During the course of our nearly 243 years as a republic, we’ve had 44 different presidents over 45 terms of office. Grover Cleveland served as president twice.
Some have been better than others.
The sense of history has been strong in recent months. George H.W. Bush passed away last November after becoming the first president to live to be 94 years old. Jimmy Carter is poised to become the president to live the longest life if he lives past April of this year.
