A local non-profit will get a financial boost thanks to jewelry maker Kendra Scott.
On Friday, the Kendra Scott Gives Back Party will be held to raise money for the Triumph Over Kid Cancer Foundation.
Kendra Scott’s local store in La Palmera Mall will donate 20 percent of profits made Friday to the foundation.
TOKC, was founded by James Ragan and his sister Mecklin, who are from Corpus Christi.
James passed away from a rare form of bone cancer in 2014. It was his goal to help children with pediatric cancer and support research.
And it’s through donations from events like the Kendra Gives Back Party that TOKC has raised millions of dollars for pediatric cancer patients and the fight for a cure.
