Furloughed government workers looking to make some money should check with the West Oso School District.
The district has openings for substitute teachers and day tutors.
They’re temporary jobs, but the extra money comes in handy if you’re not getting paid by Uncle Sam.
If you’re accepted, workers can earn as much as $19 per hour.
“We want to be of assistance,” West Oso superintendent Conrado Garcia said. “Part of the pillars of what we believe in is personalization. This is our way of showing our side of how we care for our family and what we can do for them.”
For information about necessary qualifications and how to apply, check out the school district’s website.
