A chili fundraiser on Saturday we first told you was directed to help out Coast Guard members who are working without a paycheck.
Robbie O’Quinn spearheaded the effort which started with a small post on social media. From there, it ballooned into a community-wide effort.
A total of $4,000 was raised during the event.
The group plans to give the money to the Coast Guard on Tuesday.
