If Las Vegas oddsmakers know anything, the NFL’s upcoming championship games should continue the offensive excitement that has marked the league this season.

Home teams New Orleans and Kansas City are slight favorites in Sunday’s upcoming NFC and AFC championship games, according to Vegasinsider.com.

The Saints are listed as a 3½-point favorite over the Los Angeles Rams in the early game next week. Kansas City gets a 3-point nod over New England in Sunday’s late game.

Both games will be rematches of memorable offensive shootouts earlier this season. New Orleans claimed a 45-35 triumph over the Rams on Nov. 4. And New England overcame 500 yards of total offense from Kansas City in a wild 43-40 victory over the Chiefs on Oct. 14.

Quarterbacks Drew Brees of New Orleans, Jared Goff of the Rams, Tom Brady of New England and Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City should be poised for similar offensive fireworks in the upcoming games.

The winners will meet Feb. 3 in Atlanta in Super Bowl LIII.
