The Commissioners Court wants term limits for Nueces County Hospital District Board of Managers.
Commissioners today approved a resolution that supports state legislation to limit those terms.
Supporters of those term limits say it would encourage more public participation and it just makes for good government.
How those terms limits would be implemented is still being worked out.
One possibility is limiting members of the Board of Managers to three- or four-year terms.
