Corpus Christi police are investigating an overnight shooting on the west side that left two people injured including one critically.
According to detectives, a man identified as Keith Lewis showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s house in the 700 block of West Point just after midnight.
He reportedly walked inside, pulled a gun and shot the woman at least once.
The woman’s father then shot Lewis, who is hospitalized in critical condition this evening.
Lewis is also facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He’s also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
No charges are expected to be filed against the woman’s father, police said.
