A crowd gathered at North Beach this morning to take a leap into the new year.
About 200 people took part in today’s Polar Bear Plunge.
It was a chilly way to start the new year, but it’s for a good cause.
The idea is to educate the public about ALS and to raise money for research.
And, they got a chance to burn a few calories from their New Year’s Eve celebrations to boot.
