A Coastal Bend holiday tradition returns at 3 p.m. Sunday when Handel’s “Messiah” will be performed at the First United Methodist Church, 900 S. Shoreline Blvd.
An 80-member chorus supplemented with instrumentation from several local orchestra will perform the holiday oratorio for the 22nd consecutive year, said Brad Kisner, the church’s director of music, worship and arts.
Admission is free, although worshipers are advised to arrive early to guarantee seating.
