A 4-car accident brought rush hour traffic to a halt on South Padre Island Drive this morning.
The accident occurred just after 8 a.m. on the westbound side of the street between the Kostoryz and Ayers exits.
A child in one of the vehicles was taken to Driscoll Children’s Hospital as a precaution.
