Former LFO member Devin Lima, a staple of the boy band craze in the early 1990s has died of cancer at the age of 41.

Lima passed away Wednesday after a lengthy battle with stage 4 cancer, TMZ reports. In 2017, doctors found a football-sized tumor attached to Lima’s adrenal gland above the kidneys. After the tumor was removed, it was found to be malignant.

His former band has been beset with bad luck over the years. The founding member Rich Cronin died of leukemia in 2010 at the age of 36.

The group was a staple in the late 1990s with several catchy hits like “Summer Girls” and “Girl on TV.” Along with Brad Fischetti, Lima had planned a comeback before he got sick.

RIP.
