Flour Bluff ISD Superintendent Brian Schuss has submitted a letter of resignation to the district’s board of trustees.

“Flour Bluff will always hold a special place in my heart. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and support I was given by the students, staff and community to lead this district.”

The district will being the search for a new superintendent in January.

Schuss will remain in his job at Flour Bluff through next month.

Kelley, who worked as Flour Bluff’s superintendent from 2013 until his resignation in July 2016, will begin work when Schuss leaves.
