Author/televangelist Joel Osteen will appear and speak during services at 5 p.m. Saturday at Solid Rock Church, 3035 Ayers St.
Osteen will participate in services with the Rev. Steve Coronado. He later will provide a chance for interaction with the congregation, who will have the opportunity to meet him and purchase a signed copy of his new book “Next Level Thinking.”
Osteen, 55, is a televangelist based in Houston who preaches out of the Lakewood Church. He has been its senior pastor since 1999.
Osteen’s televised sermons are seen by an estimated 7 million viewers weekly and more than 20 million monthly in more than 100 nations.
He is the author of seven books that have appeared on the New York Times’ best sellers list.
