Vice President Mike Pence will be visiting Rockport on Wednesday to pay tribute to the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Harvey.
While in Rockport on Wednesday, Pence is scheduled to visit the First Baptist Church of Rockport and meet with local FEMA employees, disaster relief volunteers and members of the community.
Pence will also receive a briefing on Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts and is expected to conclude the visit with formal remarks.
