CORPUS CHRISTI – Traffic came to a stop at a busy Southside intersection following a two-vehicle crash that resulted in one SUV to roll over.
The accident happened before 11:45 am Saturday morning along Cimarron Boulevard near the Saratoga intersection.
According to police, a car was driving along Cimarron Boulevard when the driver decided to make a U-turn and was struck by an SUV. The impact of the crash resulted in the SUV to roll over on its side, according to police.
The driver of the car was given a ticket for making a U-turn and not having a driver’s license. The driver of the SUV was also given a citation for driving with a suspended driver’s license.
An ambulance crew checked the conditions of both the drivers and no one suffered any injuries.
Both vehicles were impounded at the scene.
