Representatives from the City of Corpus Christi and local agencies will take part in an emergency evacuation training exercise. The focus of the drill is to see how participants put their training skills to use during a mock setting, such as a hurricane.
People with pets are encouraged to participate. Pets must be on a leash or in a crate or kennel.
Volunteers and their animals will act as evacuees during an emergency situation. If you are interested, join the emergency management team at 2:30 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Gym, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway.
