Border Patrol Agents in Kingsville seized nearly $700,000 worth of Narcotics on Friday.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Agents in Kingsville referred a semi truck to additional inspection after a K-9 alerted agents to the cargo area of the big rig.
During the inspection, agents discovered 18 pounds of cocaine, 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine and nearly 3 pounds of heroin.
Border Patrol says the combined value of the drugs is estimated to be worth more than $673,000.
The truck’s driver, a 23-year-old U.S. citizen and the narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency.
