The Annual Corpus Christi Firefighters C.A.R.E. (Cancer Awareness Relief Effort) Campaign is underway for its 10th year. In order to raise money, the group is once again selling the newest version of their popular C.A.R.E. T-shirt.
Since 2009, this group has donated over $500,000 locally to help fight cancer.
In addition to a fund being set up for area firefighters who are battling cancer, the American Cancer Society, First Friday, Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Triumph Over Kid Cancer and other charitable foundations have benefited from this effort.
2018 t-shirts may be purchased at the Union Hall (6014 Ayers Street) Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Prices range from $10 to $25, depending on size and style. Caps are also available, and may be viewed at mkt.com/care936.
