An apartment building is damaged after a car smashed into it.
The crash happened around 1:45 pm Sunday afternoon at an apartment building near Waldron Road and the Knickerbocker Street intersection.
According to police, the driver of the car was backing out of a parking lot and thought he had the vehicle in reverse. But unfortunately, he didn’t and instead drove into an apartment building.
Police say no one was living inside the apartment at this time. Police issued a ticket to the driver.
Crash investigators also said the driver and his passenger were not injured, only shaken up because of the crash.
