A woman is dead this morning after officers say she was hit by a car along SPID near Rodd Field Road.
The accident happened just after 5 a.m. on the eastbound side of SPID.
The left and center lanes of SPID at Rodd Field Rd. are currently closed. Rush hour traffic is expected to increase soon, so use caution if traveling in the area or find an alternate route.
