AEP is reporting that 1,240 customers are without power in the Calallen area.
The outage is centered near Up River Road and Interstate 37. Traffic lights are reportedly out, so use caution if you are traveling in the area.
There is no word on the cause of the outage or an official estimate on when it may be restored.
