Border Patrol Agents in Falfurrias arrested two U.S. citizens trying to smuggle 12 immigrants into the county inside of a tractor trailer yesterday.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents decided to investigate the vehicle after a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to the truck.
Further inspection revealed 12 immigrants concealed with the truck’s cargo.
Medical attention was offered to the immigrants, but CBP says they declined.
Border Patrol says a subjects were processed accordingly and the case is being referred to prosecution.
