The Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery is asking for the public’s help to honor a local veteran who will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Arthur Ralph Brooks served in the U.S. Navy from August 1958 to December 1960, earning the rank of Seaman Apprentice.
The cemetery says that although Brooks has some very close friends, no living relatives were able to be located.
The cemetery’s Honor Guard will deliver full military honors, and the Patriot Guard Riders of South Texas have been asked to provide pallbearers and a flag line for Mr. Brooks.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 3 at 2 p.m. The Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery is located at 9974 Interstate 37 Access Road in Corpus Christi.
