A new festival is coming to Corpus Christi this fall.

Named  ¡Otra Fest!, the three day festival will kick off on September 21 at the House of Rock downtown.

Festival organizers say ¡Otra Fest! is a brick and mortar 3 day indoor festival featuring national and regional bands from all over the state of Texas. The festival will feature bands from a variety of genres including indie, rock, folk, and Americana.

Bands will perform on two stages inside House of Rock; the IBC stage and the side stage.

The festival is being put on by the newly formed Corpus Christi Music Office.

"Music is an economic development initiative, says Heidi Hovda, from C.C. Music Office. “People travel for music people will travel for festivals and there’s a lot of economic impact that can be generated from hosting music events and also promoting what kind of music you’ve got in your town."

The ¡Otra Fest! lineup includes The Bright Light Social Hour, Shinyribs, Superfonicos, Whiskey Shivers, Mobley, Wild Moccasins, SMiiLE, Emily Wolfe, Jeff Plankenhorn, Otis the Destroyer, Culture Wars, Clarissa Serna, Sweet Daddy, Wings Over Society, Nautical Nation and more.
