Border Patrol Agents responding to reports of suspicious activity near the Rio Grande seized more than 450 pounds of marijuana yesterday.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents from the Laredo South Station confiscated a vehicle and six bundles of marijuana, worth an estimated $363,792.
CBP says the vehicle’s driver and a passenger fled to Mexico.
The marijuana was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
