Nueces County officials have lifted an outdoor burn ban for unincorporated areas of the county.
On Friday, officials confirmed that the outdoor burn prohibition was no longer in effect.
The decision follows recent rains in the area and a determination by officials that drought conditions "no longer exist in Nueces County," according to a press release.
