A resident of a lakeside subdivision has caught a 12-foot alligator said to have been "terrorizing" the neighborhood along Lake Corpus Christi.
Over in the Lakeshore Gardens subdivision in Mathis, residents told KRIS 6 News an alligator had been terrorizing the neighborhood. There, a game warden and local resident had been hunting the gator for over a week, without success.
That changed Friday morning, when the 12ft. 1in. gator was found dead on a trap line at the edge of the lake.
The gator had an estimated weight over 600 pounds.
