The consistent rain over the week has caused several cancellations across the city.
One event affected is the Bay Jammin’ Concert Series scheduled for tonight at Cole Park. Laid Back Texas and BushBullit were scheduled to perform. There is no word yet if this concert will be rescheduled.
Organizers had a little fun with telling the public the concert would not happen tonight, saying the show had been cancelled "to be replaced by the ‘Texas Thunder and Lightning Show’ with special guest ‘A Heck of a Lot of Rain.’" The latter has definitely made many appearances in the Coastal Bend this week.
The next concert series will be next Thursday, June 28, with Independent Thieves and The Chanklas.
